Better Late than Never (sorry, still no baby)
No, the title does not refer to baby's coming. Though baby is "late" according to the official due date, Terry and I are not finding it too difficult to wait. There will be enough change when baby comes that we don't mind the extra time to get a few more things done, get a few more nights' normal sleep, and spend a little more time together just as a couple.
Neither does the title refer to this post being late in the week. There hasn't been too much going on that we've been taking pictures of, really. Just some more visiting, rearranging of nursery furniture to maximize the limited space, and baking homemade bread and making pizza dough for homemade pizza in the new bread machine.
The title does refer to the posting of the below picture. I want to give a big thanks to Mavis Connors for hosting a baby shower for me two weeks ago and to Julie Kingston for helping organize it. We had a lovely time chatting, coming up with bizarre names for baby, unwrapping prezzies for baby, and nibbling on the goodies prepared. Thanks also to all the ladies who once again showered our family with their generous love and support as we head into a new phase of family life. Here they all are (thanks to our patient photographer Ron Stronach!):

That looked like fun...I'm still waiting for baby! Hehe!
Are you registered baby-wise anywhere in New Zealand?...something like the way you were for your wedding?
