SHE is here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a quick post with a pic. Here is our daughter Julia Ruth Klaver. She came out of the womb to join us at 1:00pm May 5. She shares a birthday with the country of Mexico and just one day before here Grandpa Lipsy's birthday.

Julia weighs 445 gm (9 lbs. 13oz) and is 59 cm (23 1/4 in) long. You cannot tell from the pic but she has dark brown hair just like her fathers. Her eyes are blue and we just need to wait and see if they stay that color.

Both Martha and Julie made it through the birth well. Martha's water broke at 4:50 am. She had contractions about 15 to 20 minutes apart and slept in between them. By 8:30 am her contractions were 5 minutes apart and they also seemed to occur anytime she moved. We called the mid wife and headed over to the birth center and we met her their at 9:30am. She started out with the Julia's back against hers (posterior) but she swung around into optimum launch position. By 10:30am she was feeling the need to push and our good friend Ava arrived to help with the birth; having Ava their was a real blessing from the Lord. Into the tub Martha went. She breathed through the contractions and Julia joined us at 1:00pm. Her father had the privilege of "catching" her and laying her on her mother's chest. Martha had no taring and the normal amount of bleeding. She lost a little more blood then usual though as the Placenta was quite large. We were at the birth center until around 6:30 pm giving Martha and baby some time to relax and recover.

Once home baby and mother went straight to bed. I unpacked, arranged a few things, changed a diaper and got Julia dressed for bed, and am now informing you of the wonders of the Lord this day. It is only 9:15 pm and I am tired; I can hardly imagine what my ladies must feel like.

Thank you all for your prayers, phone calls, e-mails, and text messages . It means a lot to us to know that our friends are remembering us before the Lord. Please be patient if I will not be able to get back to all your messages right away.

Lord willing tomorrow will be abit of a restful day for all. One of the elders offered to take the Tuesday night Bible study so that I can spend some time with Martha and Julia and pick up a few things we may need.

Thank you again to you all.

Praise the Lord for His faithfulness!!

"Praise God from Whom all Blessings Flow!" We are rejoicing with you at the arrival of Julia Ruth! Thanks so much for posting on the blog when Martha was in labor and now that Julia has arrived. These posts allowed us to get on our knees in prayer for a safe delivery, asking God to watch over Martha and baby as labor was happening and the delivery was imminent. We are so thankful to hear that everything went well.
Welcome, Julia!
Love you guys lots!

Psalm 127:3-4 (AV/KJV)
"Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth."

PRAISE GOD!!! We thank the LORD and rejoice with you both, and each one of your extended families! We recently received a general birth announcement from our dear brother, Pastor Lipsy, and it is such a blessing to also see a precious photo of baby on your blog! Please post more when you can, as well as your first family photo.

Praying the Lord bless you abundantly in bringing up baby "in the nurture and admonition of the Lord" (Eph 6:4) and with all of God's Word, including Deuteronomy 6:5-7 (AV/KJV): "And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up."

Prayerfully Love in Christ,
~Your brother & sister in Him

Terry and Martha
we all are excited to hear the news via mass email from your Dad....how happy they are and us as well.
Julia Ruth looks like a beauty and sure starting out at a remarkable weight (and length!!, like her mom???)
Enjoy your percious little one.

Martha, take is slow...try to listen to your body and not overdo yourself, even if you feel strong, it takes the body some time to recover!
God bless you mommy, daddy and baby

Congratulations Terry and Martha. What a wonderful blessing, especially since she looks more like Martha than you, Terry. :)

Enjoy your moments with her. Just don't expect to get a lot of sleep for the next few months. If you do, count your blessings. :)

Blessings on all three of you.
